Ehsan is an advocate for comfort enhancement in outdoor environments for placemaking practice. He joined the School of Architecture and Built Environment of the University of Adelaide after completing post-doc positions on Cooling Capacity of Green Infrastructures(UniSA), Guide for Urban Strategies (UNSW) and Urban Wind Comfort Enhancement (UofA). Ehsan’s research interests include urban microclimates and the urban heat island effect, quality of public space and public life, outdoor thermal-wind comfort, cultural and historical responses to thermal discomfort, urban greening and climate change adaptation. Ehsan teaches subjects related to understanding, analysis and design of urban environments in the context of climate change.
